From November 20th, 2025, foreigners can visit the National Immigration Administration (NIA)’s official website, Government Service Platform, “NIA 12367” APP, WeChat (Alipay) mini program or scan the QR code on the entry card with mobile phones to fill in the required information online before starting their travels to China. For those who cannot online fill in the information in advance may do this upon arrival at the immigration check points by scanning the QR code with mobile phones or using the smart devices there to fill in the required information online or use the paper version Arrival Card. Seven types of foreigners are not required of Arrival Cards, who are: a.holders of Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card issued by People’s Republic of China ; b.holders of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens); c.holders of group visa or those eligible for group visa-free entry to China; d.transiting directlywithin 24 hours staying within the restricted area of the entry port;e.entering and exiting taking the same cruise ship; f.entering through the E-channel; g.foreign employees of the cross-border transport vehicles.1.
